Access mobility sills (AMS) are a triple sealing lowline range providing part-m compliance for disabled access through doorway thresholds. The sill provides all the draught proofing quality you would expect from a Weatherbar product whilst allowing wheelchair (or push chair users) to move freely across the profile. Hidden drain holes in the front of the section allow water to move out of the built in reservoir. The three different seals work in harmony to keep both draught and moisture at bay.

Weatherbar AMS profiles can be fitted in minutes using the following method. You may need the following tools; junior hacksaw, tape measure, wood chisel and a screw driver.
1, Measure the door frame opening and cut the sill to the desired length. Carefully remove the door from the frame.
2, Place the sill in the doorway and see if any pieces of the profile will need to be removed to accommodate the frame.
3, With the sill in place, mark out either side of the frame for notching out (this will be approximately 15mm high by 5mm deep), this will allow for the front of the sill to sit flush with the front of the door jamb. Notch out the frame with a sharp wood chisel.
4, Apply a mastic sealant to the underside of the sill and push into place.
5, Screw fix the sill through the top surface and into the floor below.
