The Weatherbar Autoseal profile is a spring loaded rain deflector and draught excluder rolled into one. A heavy duty EPDM rubber section produces a weather tight seal between the door bottom and the floor. The shape of the deflector ensures that rain water runs away from the door bottom rather than pooling under the door or running inside. Autoseal has a spring return system which is tensioned when the door is closed and then released when the door is opened. It springs back to stop the rubber catching on the floor and making door opening difficult.
Please note, these seals are only compatible with inward opening doors.

Weatherbar Autoseal can be fitted quickly and easily by anyone, no need for carpenters or tradesmen. You may need the following tools; tape measure, junior hacksaw and a screw driver.
1, Measure and cut the rain deflector and carrier to the required length.
2, Place into the correct position and mark the door for reference. Apply a mastic sealant to the back of the carrier and reposition on the door and hold until the mastic begins to cure.
3, Screw fix the Autoseal to the door and wipe off any excess sealant.
4, Close the door and gently push down on top of the spring loaded deflector until the EPDM rubber seal is in contact with the surface of the floor. Mark the position for the nylon roller on the hinged side of the door jamb.
5, Open the door and fix the roller in position with the screw provided. Close the door to ensure the roller is situated correctly. Adjust if necessary.
